A new Sense of Arrival at Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort
Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort has recently completed a full refurbishment of the lobby, lobby lounge and Porte Cochere, offering guests a new sense of arrival. The lobby upgrade follows the full refurbishment of their 231 rooms and suites, and is the first Sheraton hotel in Malaysia to feature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed.
As part of the US$3.3 million renovation project of the resort, the new guest rooms are now fitted with the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, and new furnishings are designed to better reflect Sheraton"s signature style of warmth, yet with a touch of modern style.
Guests can now indulge in Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed - a luxurious nine layer custom designed bed featuring an 11.5 inch thick, high coil count Sealy Posturepedic mattress with allergy sensitive pillows and crisp cotton sheets. The spacious 52 sq meters refurbished rooms are of a contemporary design with fresh, lively colours, romantic shutters between the bedroom and bathroom, a large 29 inch television and a day bed with overhead ceiling fan on the private balcony.
“The refurbishment of guestrooms, followed by refurbishment of the lobby and restaurants will re-position Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort as a market leader in Langkawi.†said Mr. Bipan Kapur, General Manager of the Resort. He adds, “The renovation will enhance our guests" experience and ensure that our guests have a comfortable and memorable holiday.â€
Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort is a charming resort with chalets designed in traditional Malaysian architecture, located along an idyllic stretch of small private beaches amidst 38 acres of lush tropical forests and surrounded by exotic flora and fauna. The chalets and rooms, almost all offering sea views, come with full-length French windows, which open out onto the balcony. All rooms and chalets are beautifully finished in natural timber with a contemporary interior and equipped with five star amenities.
