Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort, nestled spaciously in 38 acres of lush tropical rainforests along an idyllic stretch of private beach coves on the enchanting island of Langkawi, is the ideal holiday getaway for honeymoon couples, families and discerning travelers. From the moment you arrive at the lobby of rich Sarawakian timber with slate flooring, to when you walk into the wooden chalets or two-storey units, it is obvious that much care has been taken to have the structures blend harmoniously into the lush foliage. Full-length French windows open out onto large, spacious balconies, offering majestic views over the sparkling waters of the emerald sea, or the serene setting of the resort. Well finished in natural hardwoods and local fabrics, with rustic aura, the rooms and suites are equipped with five star amenities.
The Resort has 231 rooms and suites in chalets or 2-storey buildings designed in traditional Malaysian architecture. 176 fully refurbished rooms are of a contemporary interior, and feature the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper BedSM, a 29-inch television with satellite channels and a comfortable day bed or chaise lounge on the private balcony. All rooms are 52 sq. metres large and have windows opening out to either stunning views of the Andaman Sea or of the tranquil surroundings. Draw open the romantic shutters or blinds that separate the bedroom and the bathroom, and you can admire the views while you relax in the oversized bath.
