We would like to invite you to participate in this program to experience the colorful life of Malaysia and to make Malaysia your Home away from Home. The warmth and friendliness of Malaysians enhances the partipants quality expectation, whether they are seeking an exciting or peaceful retirement. Malaysia will be able to provide any lifestyles the participants are looking for at a very affordable cost. We would like to share with you the insights of Malaysia - White sandy beaches, tropical rainforest, hill resorts, colorful lifestyle of the people, its unique building architecture and the many unique festivals.We hope this website will be able to assist you to assess if Malaysia would be your Home away from Home.

WHY ADOPT MALAYSIA AS YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Malaysia has the infrastructure and development comparable to that of any developed country and yet maintains its green tropical rainforest landscape.Malaysia has one of the most hospitable and harmonious people in the region given the fact that there are numerous religions and races living together. This is made possible because everyone respects each other's religion and because of this fact, Malaysia has emerged as one of the wealthiest and peaceful country in the region since independence in 1957.Malaysia boasts of having one of the best islands, beaches and national parks in the world. It has abundance of greenery, islands, resorts and parks. Malaysia with it's world class facilities has hosted the F1 Grand Prix, Commonwealth Games, CHOGM, International Air Show, Thomas Cup, World Cup Hockey and many more. With the Multimedia Super Corridor project, Malaysia aims to be the Silicon Valley of ASIA. Lastly, Malaysia has the luxury of a modern city with modern and high-tech building architecture and yet, maintains its colonial buildings which have been identified for World Heritage Status.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM

You will have to send in your informations along with your spouse (if applying as a couple) with the necessary documents, to indicate your interest in the program. We will provide as much informations as possible, to assist you make your decision.

You may attend a preview of the Malaysia, My Second Homme Program where we will give you the details of the program , and We can arrange for a Malaysia familiarization trip so that you can experience first hand sights and sounds of a truly colorful and enchanting country.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

It is a prerequisite policy for the successful applicants to have a sponsor endorsed by the Government of Malaysia. Glamour Glad has been appointed by the Immigration Department of Malaysia to be one of the sponsors for the Malaysia, My Second Home Program.(All successful applicants will need to pay a sponsor's fee)

Applicants have to fulfill the following requirements: Age Qualification All foreign applicants with disregard of age is eligible to apply for the program. No age limit.. Financial Qualifications: Applicants below 50 years old have to fulfill both the Deposit and the Monthly income. (effective October 2002). Deposit :Single applicant - in possession of savings of RM 100,000 (USD26,600 @ 3.76. Applicant with spouse - in possession of savings of RM 150,000 (USD39,900 @ 3.76). (Deposit cannot be withdrawn while applicants are still with the program)or Monthly Income: Single applicant - pension or royalties or income of RM 7,000 per Month (USD1,900 @ 3.76). Applicant with spouse - pension(s) or royalties or other income of not less than RM 10,000 per month (USD2,660 @ 3.76). Requires savings to be transferred to a local bank or financial institutions and applicants must maintain the income or savings when renewing their Pass and Visa annually: Medical Coverage/Insurance Applicant(s) must possess medical insurance coverage applicable and valid in Malaysia. In case the insurance coverage by an insurance company is rejected or refused because of age factor, this requirement can be waived but proof of refusal is required.

Visa Requirements Citizens or nationals of countries that require a Visa to enter Malaysia will be granted a Visa in Malaysia if the application is approved. This will be followed by the issuance of a 5 years Social Visit Pass which will need to be renewed yearly.

Employment Successful applicant and spouse issued the Visit Passes under the Malaysia, My Second Home Program will not be allowed to take up any form of employment in Malaysia. However, taking part in voluntary organization that is in accordance with the government rules and regulations is permitted.

Sponsor Acquiring the services of any agent, middleman or a consultant firm (inclusive of a legal firm) is strictly prohibited. All applications must be completed by a local sponsor that has been appointed by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. The sponsor shall submit the application directly to the Immigration Department.

WHAT YOUR SPONSOR WILL DO FOR YOU

Glamour Glad will endorse your application to the Immigration Department of Malaysia.Glamour Glad will submit a Personal Bond required by the Immigration Department of Malaysia for accountability of your stay in Malaysia.

Glamour Glad will undertake to make and submit the application on your behalf by signing the Visit Pass Application Form (IMM12) as per required by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. A Hotline service to cater to your needs.

Glamour Glad (M) Sdn Bhd is a locally incorporated private limited company appointed by the Immigration Department of Malaysia to be a sponsor of the Malaysia, My Second Home Program. The company has vast experience in processing applications for the Malaysia, My Second Home Program.
