Bas Kosthi is the son of a traditional Malaysian herbalist. With a rich background of natural herbs and medicines, Bas went to India to study health and spa management. On his return he moved from his native Penang to Langkawi, where he discovered a tropical paradise island with tourists from all corners of the world receptive to his unique spa treatments and concepts.

Inspired by the success of his latest projects including Tioman Island's Paya Tropical Holistic Spa, Bas' latest venture promises to set new standards. It includes some novel touches including a children's area and a stunning herbal café for after-treatment relaxing.
