Is Langkawi the Malay Ribbean?
Canadian Royal Scenic Holidays has developed a good market for beach holidays to Asia by pricing them competitively with typical Caribbean holidays.
One of its latest offerings is a so-called MalayRibbean holiday to the Malaysian island resort of Langkawi for $1,788 out of Toronto including return airfare, roundtrip airport transfers, seven nights accommodation and breakfast daily.
Stopovers in Hong Kong or Kuala Lumpur are also available.
