Nature’s Stamp On Batik
Batik boutique Jendela Batik takes another step forward with the opening of a retail outlet at the Four Season"s Resort, Langkawi.
Archive Since 1991 Selected as one of the few brands to represent Malaysian products at the resort, Jendela Batik has designed a range of resort wear, exclusively for the Four Seasons, inspired by nature on Langkawi.
From silk pareos to short kaftan tops, loungers, scarves and cravats, the resort wear features a selection of unique hand-painted batik pieces capturing shades of sunset, twilight, underwater scenery and mangroves.
The collection also features a limited run of printed batik motifs in cool cotton. Men have a selection of casual and relaxing shirts to choose from, while women"s outfits include wraparound tops, palazzos, long blouses and sun dresses.
Jendela Batik has also experimented with batik print swim wear in lycra for both men and women.
