Sharing views on Teen Issues in Langkaw
The young teenagers, aged between 13 and 15, gathered at a resort here to share views on teen issues. They expressed their opinions on matters such as peer pressure, teenage pregnancies, smoking and girl-boy relationships through various activities and games.
The Junior Bright Roving Annoying Teens (Brats) camp, last of a series of three for this year, is organised by The Star, with the co-operation of MAGGI and hosted by Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd (SPNB) who contributed for the accommodation, food, ferry ride and flight from Langkawi to Penang. The 36 youngsters, from various parts of the country, arrived in Langkawi after a ferry ride from Penang.
The workshop started with the initial ice-breaking session through various games and activities, which stressed on communication. The programme is being held to explore teenage issues. Also present were four facilitators, four senior Brats and Star Metro editor Tan Ju-Eng.
