Malaysian Air Expects More Intl Passengers
Malaysian Airline System Bhd. (3786.KU) expects its international passenger volume to grow 25% in the current financial year ending March 2005, spurred by strong traffic from China and India, the Sun reports.
The report had Malaysian Airline's managing director Ahmad Fuaad Mohd Dahlan saying the airline would carry a total of 8.78 million passengers for its international routes, an increase of 1.76 million passengers from the previous year.
"Almost 70% of our business is in the international market. We expect to see a lot more growth in our routes in Asia, especially China and India," he said.
