More Come To Malaysia For Honeymoon
More and more foreigners are attracted by Malaysia's honeymoon packages and approximately 100,000 newlyweds came to Malaysia in the first half of this year for honeymoon.
Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Zahid b Hamid said most of the newlyweds were from West Asia, about 85%. He pointed out that some 7,500 pairs of foreign newlyweds came to Malaysia for honeymoon last year, mostly to the islands. He said currently there were about 20 hotels in the country offering honeymoon packages.
