The Langkawi EPF Service Centre Now Open Daily
The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) announced that their service centre in Langkawi, Kedah will be open on every working day with effect from September 1, 2004.
This is in line with the EPF's focus to provide better service to its customers. Prior to this, the EPF service centre in Langkawi was only open twice a week," said EPF Senior Public Relations Manager, Nik Affendi Jaafar. "However, due to the encouraging response from members and employers in Langkawi, the EPF has decided to keep its doors open on every working day," he added.
The EPF service centre in Langkawi is located at Lot 2, Mezzanine Floor, Kompleks LADA, Jalan Persiaran Putra, Kuah, Langkawi. The operation hours for the service centre are as follows:-Saturday to Thursday - from 8.15 am until 4.15 pm except (Thursday (Second and Fourth week) - from 8.15 am until 12.25 noon(Saturday (First and Third week) - Closed.
The centre provides the following services: Supply members' statement of accounts Provide and accept EPF forms from members and employers Accept monthly contribution payments via cheques* Handle enquiries and complaints Provide advice on the EPF and its services About the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) The EPF is Malaysia's national provident fund which aims to provide financial security for its members' retirement purposes.
The fund is committed to preserving and growing the savings of its members in a prudent manner in accordance with best practices in investments and corporate conduct. Its services are also being improved with focus on people skills, processes and procedures. The EPF will continue to play a catalytic role in the nation's development, consistent with its position as the largest social security organisation in Malaysia.
