Value for Money Deals at MATTA Fair
The upcoming Matta International Travel Fair offers value for money packages, said Tourism Minister Datuk Dr Leo Michael Toyad.
He reminded the people not to neglect local destinations. Dr Toyad dismissed claims that going overseas was cheaper than holidaying locally. Sometimes cheap alone doesn't sell. We have hotels that range from two stars to five stars and we have good facilities here.
People pay for the quality of the product, Dr Toyad said.
Themed Your One-Stop Travel Focus, visitors to the fair can also take part in two contests - the buyers contest and the Visa card contest.
The fair is open to the public from 10am to 9pm with an entrance fee of RM3 for adults. There is no charge for children under 12.
